Hailie at a Young Age *I am basing these facts on what I have heard from Eminem's songs about his daughter, and other websites, basically www.shadysbaby_hailie.tripod.com (which I DO NOT OWN!). **Also, I do not refer to Eminem as "Marshall" on my websites. I don't think I am obligated to, since I don't personally know him. Basically that means, it's Eminem to the fans. Hailie Jade Scott was born on December 25, 1995. Her last name is Scott because when she was born, Kim had full custody of her and Kim and Eminem were not married at that time. ::twitch twitch:: When Hailie was born, it was considered Eminem's biggest blessing in his life. Hailie is what keeps her daddy going when the going gets tough, even when she wasn't old enough to talk. Hailie and Eminem live in the Warren area of Detroit, Michigan. From what I've seen, they have a REALLY nice house, with a pool and a waterfall and a guest house. I've heard they even have a cat named Tigger. Hailie and her father spend as much time as they possibly can together, PRIVATELY. I really feel bad for Eminem, having like two thirds of his home life shared with the public. It's kinda like being on Big Brother. But at least he and his daughter can have a private life. Eminem and Hailie watch TV shows together, like Powerpuff Girls, Dora the Explorer (which Eminem claims is just the same episode over and over again), Hey Arnold and probably others. Quotes about Hailie from Eminem: "I definitely have a soft spot for kids. Mine is definitely number one on my list, and that's who I know I cherish and take pride in." (said by great-grandma of Hailie, Betty Kresin): (said by a neighbor) |

Hailie Jade Profile Full Name: Hailie Jade Scott Songs Featuring Hailie '97 Bonnie and Clyde (Just the Two of Us) As most of you probably know, this song is about Eminem taking Hailie to the beach to dump her dead mother into the ocean. Sounds pretty nasty. But I don't think Hailie can really understand what the song means yet...if you listen to the lyrics, he's talking to Hailie the whole time in baby talk so she doesn't suspect anything. It sounds like a really low thing for Eminem to do, but at the time, Kim was using Hailie as a weapon against him, taking her away from him and stuff like that. And Eminem was wondering how to put his baby girl in a song. So he told Kim that he was taking Hailie to Chuck E. Cheeses and went to the recording studio to record the song. At the time, Eminem was pretty much trying to piss off his wife. He says that in the future, he is going to explain to his daughter the song like he would any other kid, and tell her that at the time, he and Kim were not in good terms. My Dad's Gone Crazy Eminem got the idea for this really funny song while he was mixing "Soldier." Hailie was there playing and she said, "Somebody, please help him! I think my dad's gone crazy!" Eminem said, "What did you say?" and she said it again. Then she said, "Daddy, I wanna say it on the mic." So there was the idea. Doe Ray Me By now, you all probably know about Eminem's beef with Ja Rule and heard about all this stuff he did (and my reasons for despising him) in the song Like Toy Soldiers. If not, what happened was, Ja Rule said Hailie's name in a song and Eminem got REALLY REALLY pissed. So he figured, Ja Rule dissed Hailie in a song, so why doesn't Hailie diss Ja Rule in a song? He recorded Doe Ray Me with Hailie. This song has two different parts where Hailie speaks, one of which I think is not in any versions of the song anymore: [Eminem]: Hailie, what do you wanna be when you grow up? I'm not even sure if this is really in a version of Doe Ray Me, because Eminem doesn't curse in front of Hailie, so why would he let her curse? But anyway, I know for sure this is the beginning of it: [Eminem]: Hailie! At the end of the song, we hear Hailie again: [Hailie]: Daddy, is Ja Rule taller than me? During the song, we hear Eminem angrily yell out things like "Don't you ever say my little girl's name in a song again!" I have noticed something I need someone to tell me about. As big a fan as I am, I have never seen 8 Mile on DVD because of overprotection at home. But in the Lose Yourself video, during the line, "He goes home and barely knows his own daughter," it shows someone who appears to be Hailie standing in a house while Eminem walks in. This was not in the movie, so is this a deleted scene or an alternate ending or what?? Please email me if you know. Email me if you have any corrections! Links to Other Sites |
